Rendang is a popular dish made with meat stewed in coconut milk and aromatic spices such as shallot, lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime leaves. Using slow cook method slow boil up for few hours and served with the flavorful tomato rice. This traditional Malaysian meal and it’s prefect for easy weekend dinner.

INGRIDIENTS

Margarine: 30g

Star Anise: 2 pieces

Cloves: 2 pieces

Cardamon: 2 pieces

Cinnamon Stick: 1 piece

Minced Shallot:  30g

Tomato Paste: 30g

Long Gain Rice: 300g  

Spice Taste

Dried Chili: 10-12 pieces

Lemongrass: 3 sticks

Shallot: 5 pieces

Ginger: 1 inch

Galangal: 1 inch

Garlic: 5 cloves
